The Atlanta Capitals are pleased to announce our Captain, Nick Mumford, has signed a North American Hockey League (NAHL) tender agreement with the Robertson Champion, New Jersey Titans of the NAHL’s East Division.
Mumford, who just turned 20, just played his second season with the Capitals. The 5’11″/175 lbs. native of Lebanon, Illinois, played in 45 regular season games, scoring 15 goals and 20 assists this past season.
In his two seasons with Atlanta, Mumford has played in 83 games registering 52 points (19 Goals, 33 Assist) and 148 PIM.
“We are so happy for Nick! He was one of our two returning players from the 2020-21 season. We are so thankful for his leadership on and off the ice with our young team. We wish him the best and know that he will impress the New Jersey staff with his hard work and tenacious play” stated Atlanta Head Coach, John Bowkus.
New Jersey Main camp is scheduled for July 25-28, 2022. And Training Camp will be the first two weeks in August.
