Atlanta's Artus Laukaitis scored 2:20 into overtime to beat Bozeman, 2-1 (OT).

Atlanta's penalty kill excelled, as Atlanta gave up zero goals despite allowing six power plays.

Atlanta was led by Laukaitis, who had one goal and one assist.

Atlanta stifled Bozeman's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Atlanta's offense operated below its season average. Atlanta averages 6.0 goals per game. Atlanta's offense rang up 41 shots on Bozeman's net.

Andrew Cooley also scored for Atlanta.

Bozeman put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Atlanta to score on any of its five power plays. Bozeman was held below its usual level of production. Bozeman puts an average of 4.1 pucks into the net per game.

Bozeman was led by Kegan Couture, who scored the team's only goal. Couture scored 11:12 into the third period to make the score 1-0 Bozeman.Dylan Michaud assisted on the tally.

Alekandr Zendejas rejected 24 shots on goal for Atlanta. Atlanta incurred 22 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Stephen Frank recorded 39 saves for Bozeman. Bozeman incurred 20 minutes in penalty time with five minors. 

“We are happy to get the two points, but we can be better and need to be better tomorrow. Alexandria is a good hockey club and we need to re-focus quickly on the task at hand” said Head Coach Anthony Bohn.
