Jude Hull Commits To St. Olaf University

One of the many bright spots of the Capitals inaugural season was the play in net of Jude Hull. After only one season, Hull has parlayed his time in the NA3HL into a commitment to St. Olaf University of the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC).

"We are extremely proud of Jude on his commitment," said Capitals head coach Anthony Bohn. "He is a tireless worker and has taken his game to the next level with our goalie coach Steve Briere. Jude has a bright future and, with his work ethic, he will be very successful."

A lynchpin to the team's ascension to Regular Season South Division Champions, Hull played in 28 games, starting 26 of the them. The Caps went 19-6-1 with Hull in net including a five-game winning streak (from Nov. 30th to Dec. 15th) and two four-game winning streaks (Jan. 15th to Jan. 26 and Feb. 14 to March 8). Hull defended 755 of 835 shots on goal for a save percentage of 2.95 and recorded two shutouts.

The Topeka Capitals are committed to the development and education of junior hockey players.
