Capitals fall to the Jr. Stars 3-2

Kyle Konin came up big, stopping 25 of 28 shots throughout the game. The Mid Cities Jr. Stars took the lead early in the third on a goal from Nick Sheridan.

Nick Sheridan contributed with 2 goals and Trey Rooney did his part, adding 2 assists.

During the first period, Speights opened the scoring for the Jr. Stars with a goal at 1:23 with a helper from Rooney. Ladzinski answered for the Capitals with a goal at 10:11. Sheridan answered for Mid Cities with a goal at 12:20 with assists from his linemates, Schulz and Rooney. Klintworth answered for Atlanta with a goal at 18:21.

In the third, Sheridan answered for the Jr. Stars with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 3:32.

This loss brings the Atlanta Capitals’ record to (0-2-0-0).
