September was a big month for Topeka hockey. Both the RoadRunners and the Capitals charged to the top of their respective divisions and, in doing so, received recognition for Brett Malkmus, Colin O'Connor, and Alex Sauer as Player of the Month honorable mentions.

The South Division leading Capitals will return to Landon Arena this weekend after their second straight three-win weekend on the road, taking two from Dallas and one from Texas to move to 6-0-2.

For their outstanding play over the weekend, Topeka's Alex Sauer earned Easton's South Division Star of the Week with the 2nd Star going to Trey Opack.

The Capitals traveled to Texas over the weekend and took their first win, series, and sweep of the season to retake first place in the South Division.

Jacob Pelton, who started with the Topeka RoadRunners before becoming a Capital, has been called up to play for the Nepean Raiders of the Central Canada Hockey League (CCHL).

The Caps earned two points in the standings during their first series of the season, falling in a shootout in both games.

Here is the schedule for the viewing parties and games that fans can take part in this week.rn
